Bubble Gum fem - Serious Seeds

Bubble Gum, from the Serious Seeds seed bank, is a strain famous for its sweet bubble gum smell and potency. The plants are medium in size, usually not very branched, although in some cases the plants can reach a good size. The buds are compact and are covered with resin during flowering. Plants grown from seed are very similar to each other.


Bubble Gum was originally developed in Indiana, USA. Later that original genetics arrived in the Netherlands and ended up in the hands of two companies: T.H. Seeds, which launched its Bubblegum in 1993, and Serious Seeds. The Bubble Gum cross by Serious is more Sativa in its appearance and in its effect, a robust and strong plant with the characteristic sweet smell of chewing gum and a stimulating effect, identifying signs of this variety.


Bubble Gum is the only inbred cross (not an F1 hybrid) in the Serious Seeds catalog and has already racked up 11 awards at events such as the High Times Cannabis Cup and other similar festivals. Only in Spain it won 5 local and national cups during 2004 and 2005. In 2006 Soft Secrets magazine named it plant of the year, as many growers won competitions with the same plant: Bubble Gum. In September 2016, the feminized seeds of Bubble Gum obtained the third place in the Sativa category at the Expogrow Cup, in Irún, Spain. Bubble Gum has also been the mother of legendary crosses, such as Strawberry Banana produced by Crockett Family Farms.


Bubble Gum's legendary sweet strawberry flavor is very pronounced in plants grown from feminized seed.
